At Kuipers, we pride ourselves on having a high employee retention rate. Our current team members have been working with us on average for 7 and a half years. In some cases, however, this figure rises to 20 years and more. Today Mr. de Jong set a new record – 25 years within the same organisation.
On behalf of all the team, we would like to first of all thank Andries for all the great work and dedication he has shown since day one. Being a Project Manager in a small organisation is a challenging job, it requires skills and knowledge beyond the job description. ‘ When I began my employment at Kuipers, I never thought I would be here until today’ comments Mr. de Jong. He also explains how interesting it is to see all the development and changes that have occurred throughout the years. Kuipers, originally a Dutch small family business is now becoming an international entity present in over 60 countries.
On the same note, we would also like to congratulate Ms. Ockhuysen, who among other things, ensured our finances are in order for the last 12 and a half years. Employee retention is highly valued at Kuipers. We believe that with experience comes expertise which consequently allows our organisation to grow, innovate and succeed.
