At Kuipers, we continuously develop solutions for new products depending on various local demands in different countries. The more non-standard frying systems are carefully engineered for less universal products such as mini croutons for example.
Our turnkey delivered plants are custom engineered according to some of the most interesting local market products in the world. For example, in the Mediterranean area, we have delivered special plants designed to produce corn nuts, a crunchy snack made from corn kernels. For the Israeli market, we delivered various shkedei marak or soup mandels lines, a great crispy mini crouton to add to soups. Our systems include some of the most advanced frying technology which ensures snack producers can produce efficiently and safely.

The plant is mounted in our unique mainframe where all the electric cabling and pneumatic air supply pipes can be carefully stored for a clean and safe design. This concept further allows our customers to rapidly and efficiently start up their line on site.

Applications
Corn nuts, fried corn kernels or quico is a delicious snack originating from the US and becoming more popular in the South American, Spanish and Turkish regions. This snack consists of a special variety of corn kerns which are pre-processed then deep fried and flavored.
Shkedei marak, mandlakh or mini croutons are a very special product mostly used to accompany soups. Unlike traditional croutons these are much smaller. Mandlakh is made from flour and palm oil and is very popular in the Jewish cuisine.
